These inspections are conducted by the Health Act 2007 and the National Standards for Residential Services for Children and Adults with Disabilities.

Inspectors found that seven centers, operated by various providers including Ability West, Autism Initiatives Ireland CLG, Avista CLG, Communicare Agency Ltd, and Dara Residential Services, demonstrated a generally good level of compliance with regulations and standards. Notable examples of good practice were observed, such as residents’ active participation in decision-making, support for daily choices, and engagement in enriching activities.
