Looking ahead to 2025, the government has committed to a permanent annual funding of 600 million DKK for the development of Cancer Plan V (Kræftplan V) by the Danish Health Authority. The plan, anticipated for release in Autumn 2024, aims to concentrate on preventive measures, leverage cutting-edge technologies like artificial intelligence for early cancer detection, and bolster support for managing late-stage complications and palliative care.
